Vice Versa: the door must be open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
Since 2014, Vice Versa has been provided with solutions from Air In Motion to various freezers. These freezers are often opened for a short time (a few seconds per passage). Air In Motion has been developing and implementing solutions for this purpose for the refrigeration and freezing world for many years.
At the beginning of 2021, the request came from Vice Versa to make it possible to leave the most used freezer door open 24/7 (continuously!). After all, so much transport took place through this passage that closing the door would immediately cause damage due to collision. Air In Motion is happy to take on this challenge.
To make this possible, the latest technology has been used, where efficiency and energy savings go hand in hand. By means of the in-house developed and manufactured AFIM Dry dehumidifiers, almost all moisture is removed so that it does not enter the freezing climate. In addition to internal heat recovery (25% more energy efficient than market-standard dehumidifiers), this solution also includes external heat recovery in the form of the unique Heat Recovery Unit, abbreviated: HRU. Through the HRU, 80% of the regeneration heat is recovered so that it can be reused in the dehumidifying process. All this makes this combination at least 50% more energy efficient compared to market-standard dehumidifiers. The door to the freezer can therefore remain open efficiently and energy-consciously for transport without slippery conditions, snow or ice formation.

Vice Versa is a cold store with a storage capacity of 65,000 pallets. Located in Oss, between Nijmegen and 's-Hertogenbosch in The Netherlands. There are 16 cooling and freezing cells available in which the temperature can be controlled independently of each other. We have high-quality installations to maintain the quality of your product.
We can offer you an extensive range of options, for example shock freezing your pallets, tilting pallets, sealing pallets, turning over crates, unloading containers on pallets, order picking at package level, tempering, etc. Your stock is in safe hands with us.
